Startup incubator The Troy Innovation Garage to debut in 2016

TROY, N.Y. — New startup incubator, the Troy Innovation Garage, will soon open on 4th street in downtown Troy.

Renovations for the space is budgeted at $1 million, and the two-story structure will boast 13,000 square feet of space for both the incubator program as well as Gramercy Communications, which will take 4,000 square feet, which will be hiring three new employees when the space opens in the fall of 2016.

The Troy Innovation Garage will specifically focus on the creative economy, including but not limited to web and graphic designers, app developers, architects, IP lawyers, marketers, writers, photographers and videographers, as well as nurture start-up ventures through the company’s residency accelerator program. The Troy Innovation Garage will employe a full-time director and two part-time employees.
