Buffalo’s Whiteboard IT Solutions rapidly expanding to new facility
BUFFALO — Whiteboard IT Solutions is set to double its Hertel Avenue footprint when it takes over an adjacent facility to accommodate the rapid growth of the four-year old business, according to Buffalo Business First.
The company was founded by Steven Murphy and in some ways is a traditional information technology firm, hosting emails and websites and helping companies purchase hardware and software.
But it’s “next-generation” approach to the industry, by which it closely works with clients on best practices as they relate to technology and, in many cases, serves as an outsourced IT department, has given it an advantage in an extremely competitive market, Murphy said.
The result was more work than the five-person company could take on last November, when it decided to embark on an aggressive growth strategy. It has since doubled its headcount to 10 people and might add more employees depending on new projects it undertakes.
